“I gained a lot from Panim el Panim . It was an amazing and life-changing experience. My sense of social and political responsibility was definitely strengthened, and I want to change the world for the better while living by my Jewish values.”

ABOUT PANIM

Since its founding in 1988, PANIM: The Institute for Jewish Leadership and Values has acquired a reputation for being one of the most innovative, successful educational organizations on the American Jewish scene.

Tens of thousands of Jewish teens, representing more than 300 community organizations from across the country have been impacted by PANIM’s programs.

Our flagship program Panim el Panim, our award-winning Jewish Civics Initiative and our innovative Summer JAM (Judaism, Activism and Mitzvah work) summer program bring Jewish high school students from across the Jewish religious and educational spectrum to Washington, D.C. to learn about political activism and civic engagement in the context of Jewish values and principles. Students emerge from our programs with a deeper appreciation for how Jewish values and the Jewish tradition can empower them to make the world around them a better place.
