2009-2010 PANIM Fellowships
PANIM is seeking graduating college seniors to participate in a yearlong paid fellowship. The PANIM Fellowship Program is a fun and challenging professional experience for recent college graduates passionate about politics, policy, Jewish education, and community service. During your fellowship year, you will take on a variety of projects relating to a range of PANIM’s programs and key functions. Along with a class of three other fellows, you will also have the chance to enjoy the Jewish, cultural, and political scene in our nation’s capital. Following their PANIM experience, past fellows have become leaders in their communities as teachers, rabbis, activists, politicians, and Jewish communal professionals.
Projects you may contribute to during your fellowship include:
- Planning and implementing our award-winning seminars for Jewish teens
- Researching and writing about current policy issues
- Developing and teaching educational programs to teens from diverse Jewish backgrounds
- Coordinating hundreds of communities to participate in a national day of Jewish service
- Supporting and staffing one of our summer programs
- Learning and using design software to create marketing materials
- Sitting on committees with members of PANIM’s Board of Trustees
- Organizing our Annual Benefit Dinner
- Allocating grant money to student service projects
The fellowship offers a competitive stipend plus benefits.
