"My Panim el Panim seminar was amazing!! The program taught me so much in such a short time about how to apply Jewish values like tzedek(justice) and chesed(lovingkindness) to the worlds of American government and politics.” - Celine Pascheles PeP alumnus Livingston, NJ

Panim el Panim is Hebrew for “face
to face.” Since 1988, 15,000 teens from more than 200
communities have traveled to Washington to participate
in Panim el Panim: High School in Washington.
Each seminar brings together diverse groups of 10th-12th
grader students from around the country to explore
public policy and social activism through a Jewish
lens.
On Panim el Panim, participants learn about
public policy and political activism by interacting
with experts on a wide range of cutting edge issues.
Topics include capital punishment, civil liberties,
abortion, bio-ethics, gun control, and peace and war.
Panim el Panim seminars include interactive
sessions in which students relate Jewish texts and
values to the world around them. Students also receive
political and issue advocacy training with an emphasis
on Israel and the Mideast conflict.
We
offer many different seminar dates during the academic
year for community groups, Pluralistic Day Schools
and Orthodox Day Schools. If you would like to bring
a group of students to a PANIM seminar, please fill

Interest Form.
